PMMC is located in Laguna Beach, CA and rescues, rehabilitates and releases marine mammals and inspires ocean stewardship through research, education and collaboration.
The PMMC rescue team found this young harbor seal in critical condition. The seal came in at 20.4 pounds, but they should be between 40-60 pounds at this age. Her temperature was elevated at 103.4°F, her blood sugar level was very low and
she was having intermittent seizures, with moments of non-responsiveness.
