Stranded cousin found with 1,000 pieces of plastic in belly
Guys!! Horrible news arrive me from Indonesia from my cousin Mo. He just couldn't take it anymore. He stranded on the beach with a belly full of plastic.
Too much trash in the Ocean. I keep telling you guys... It's sad. Cousin Mo was such a great guy. He was a sperm whale minding his own business. But sometimes it's just too irritating. And I swear guys! It's everywhere!!! These darn plastic pieces. You see a huge pod of shrimp and they are soooo delicious. But next thing you know you swallowed a grocery bag, a bottle and 5 straws. A whale can only stand so much. This poor little guy had so much swallowed over time. Researchers from wildlife conservation group WWF and the park’s conservation academy found about 5.9kg (13lbs) of plastic waste in the animal’s stomach containing 115 plastic cups, four plastic bottles, 25 plastic bags, two flip-flops, a nylon sack and more than 1,000 other assorted pieces of plastic.
I tell you guys. It is bad out there. We need to stop this. We are already swimming in it out here. Something needs to change....
