Shore Buddies Wisdom Wednesday

Dolphins are often referred to as one of the smartest animals on the planet! As it turns out, not only are they incredibly smart but also have a gifted sense of sight. Dolphin sonar, known as echolocation, allows them to create an “acoustical holographic image,” which essentially means they can see the inside of an animal. The frequency of the echolocation goes through the soft material and only reflects from a hard surface. In animals, this would be the bones and cartilage.
